Annie Lederman along with another female student were questioned by the court on what took place. Her friendship grew with some of her problematic classmates, who were involved in illegal activities including drug-related sales. Annie Lederman, who graduated high school at the age of 17, spent her next year working as a volunteer, first helping dolphins train on the island of Hawaii as well as later working with an organization that is non-profit and aims to assist the children who are in need of help in Central America.
