It is possible that her agent rejected the offer on her behalf without telling the actress. Her initial choice was made for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an extremely preliminary script to play an appearance in the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. The actress initially refused the part since the character did not seem strong. Glen then wrote her the role with a more powerful character, Sheba.
