Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American film television and theatre actress. Thespian Jeanne Marie Triplehorn has been working professionally for the over 27 years. The first time she appeared on stage as a part of the off Broadway production called The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley, in the year 1990. As a character in The Perfect Tribute, she made her debut in a TV show a year later. In 1992 she got her first big break by playing a secondary character in Basic Instinct. It was in the movie The Firm however that she was chosen as the female lead for the first time and that too opposite famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. She played Dr. Alex Blake on the popular international police procedural thriller Criminal Minds.
